Paul Jason Phipps was born in Manhattan and grew up on Long Island, New York. Shortly after graduating High School, Paul enlisted in the United States Army.

As a United States Army Military Policeman Paul provided physical security on a stateside U.S. Army base that housed nuclear weapons.  His next assignment was in Germany where he provided Law Enforcement on a U.S. Army base containing an estimated 20,000 U.S. troops. 

Paul's final assignment as a United States Military Policeman was combat operations in Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Desert Spear, where he spent the better part of a year in a the city of Safwan, Iraq.  Paul was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 1993.

Paul earned his A.A. in Liberal Arts from St. Petersburg Junior College, his B.S. in Business Administration from The University of Tampa, and his Law Degree from Stetson University.  Paul was employed by JPMorganChase for 18 years in various capacities, his last role being Assistant General Counsel.

Paul's private law practice specializes in representing litigants involved in family and criminal law matters in the Tampa Bay Area.
